
A Myanmar man has been arrested by police in Hiroshima, Japan, for allegedly sexually assaulting a female pedestrian, Japanese media reported.
The man, a 23-year-old man who was in Japan on an internship visa, was arrested.
Japanese media reported that the man allegedly sexually assaulted a female pedestrian in Hiroshima’s Asakusa neighborhood at around 8:30 p.m. on May 2, when he allegedly pushed her down and injured her.
The man confessed to the crime, police said.
The woman suffered minor injuries, and police are investigating the case.
